Nov 3, 01:35

On November 3, as reported by Seeking Alpha, the Windfall gold mine project in Quebec, Canada, owned by Gold Fields, has secured key environmental permits and completed an environmental and social impact assessment, enabling construction to move forward subject to regulatory conditions.

The project must still obtain a mining lease and other permits. Upon reaching full production, the Windfall mine is expected to produce approximately 300,000 ounces of gold annually, with Gold Fields targeting a final investment decision before February 2027.
