Xiaomi Discloses 8-Hour Humanoid Robot Factory Work and Long-Horizon Home Task Progress
November 3: According to IT Home, Xiaomi disclosed progress on deploying its robotics business in two scenarios—factories and homes—during the 2026 World Internet Conference. In the factory scenario, Xiaomi's humanoid robot took on an 8-hour work challenge for the first time at the center console side cover sequencing station, autonomously correcting anomalies during operation and coordinating with the production line system. In the home scenario, an Agent system built on the Xiaomi-Robotics-1 pre-trained model began trial operations at Xiaomi youth apartments, completing validation of long-horizon tasks lasting more than 30 consecutive minutes, covering 3 rooms and including over 50 tasks. The model was pre-trained on 100,000 hours of real operation trajectories and ranked first overall on the RoboCasa 365 and RoboDojo leaderboards in July.
