Circle cuts about 5% of workforce, affecting roughly 55 positions

November 4 — Stablecoin issuer Circle (CRCL) cut about 5% of its staff, roughly 55 positions, in a third-quarter restructuring aimed at improving efficiency and adjusting operations. Circle currently has about 1,100 employees in total and is still hiring for 96 roles.
