Robinhood CEO: Goal Is to Make Robinhood Chain the Go-To Public Chain for RWA and Meme

November 6 — Robinhood co-founder and CEO Vlad Tenev shared the latest progress on Robinhood Chain during a public AMA today. He said tokenized stocks are already live on the chain, fully permissionless and open for developers to build on, and AI Agents can also interact with it directly. On why the team built its own chain, Vlad said that after researching existing ecosystems, the team concluded no single chain could fully meet its specific needs. Robinhood Chain aims to be the go-to public chain for RWA and Meme, and he believes RWA and crypto assets are converging and will become one, creating an order-of-magnitude growth opportunity.

On the product side, Robinhood has already showcased on-chain content across multiple products, including a dApp browser and trending token displays in Robinhood Wallet; the main app's search and Crypto sections have also added trending tokens.
