Meta Chief Strategy Officer Departs, Joins AI Inference Startup Fireworks

November 7 – According to Cailianshe, Meta Chief Strategy Officer Dave Wehner confirmed on Friday that he will leave the company to become Chief Financial Officer of AI inference startup Fireworks. Wehner joined Facebook in 2012 as Vice President of Corporate Finance and Business Planning, was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2014, held that position for more than eight years, and moved to Chief Strategy Officer in 2022.
