Hyperliquid Perpetual Swap Market Data Integrates Into Bloomberg Terminal; HYPE Buyback Fund Receives First US$14.58 Million in USDC Proceeds
On October 6, according to Bitcoin.com, real-time market data for Hyperliquid perpetual contracts has now been integrated into the Bloomberg Terminal. Institutional investors can view real-time prices for perpetual contracts related to cryptocurrencies, gold, crude oil, the S&P 500 index, foreign exchange, and stocks. This integration only supports market monitoring and price comparison and does not currently allow direct execution of Hyperliquid trades through the Bloomberg Terminal.
Meanwhile, Hyperliquid has received its first USDC yield distribution of $14.58 million under the AQAv2 mechanism, covering the past 30 days. Under this mechanism, approximately 90% of the cost-adjusted returns generated by the USDC reserves will be allocated to Hyperliquid and injected into the Assistance Fund used for repurchasing HYPE, ensuring that the funding source for HYPE buybacks is no longer limited to trading fees.
Arete Capital Managing Partner McKenna estimates that, based on the current circulating supply of USDC at approximately $7.3 billion and the prevailing yield rate, the mechanism could generate around $200 million in annual revenue for Hyperliquid.
