Anthropic releases Claude Haiku 5.5 model
On October 8, according to Jinshi Data, AI research organization Anthropic officially launched the brand-new large model, Claude Haiku 5.5. This version incorporates specialized optimizations at the foundational architecture level, with its core positioning explicitly targeted at various cost-sensitive computing tasks, designed to provide higher-efficiency inference support for high-frequency invocation scenarios.
In terms of commercial pricing, Anthropic simultaneously announced a highly competitive pricing plan. After the new model's full rollout, its API call fees will experience a significant decrease compared to the previous-generation Haiku 4.5. This move aims to help enterprises and developers effectively reduce operational costs during large-scale deployments by substantially compressing unit compute costs.
