Trump disclosed over 500 trades in August worth tens of millions of dollars to buy Meta stock and SpaceX bonds.
On October 8, CNBC reported that the latest August financial disclosure documents released by U.S. President Trump show he conducted 517 securities transactions in the month, with a total value ranging from $74.3 million to $273.3 million. These included purchases of up to $25 million in Meta stock and up to $5 million in senior unsecured bonds issued by SpaceX.
Notably, this SpaceX bond transaction occurred on August 18, two days prior to Trump signing a national policy aimed at expanding U.S. commercial space transportation. Furthermore, the filings reveal that on August 21, he rebalanced his portfolio by buying shares in companies such as AT&T and Netflix, while trimming holdings in AMD and Nvidia. Neither the White House nor SpaceX has responded to requests for comment.
