On October 9, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Opinions on Promoting the Development of New Quality Productive Forces." The document highlights the comprehensive implementation of the "Artificial Intelligence+" initiative. It calls for advancing the transformation of traditional industries through AI, accelerating the deployment of next-generation smart terminal applications such as intelligent connected new energy vehicles, AI-powered smartphones and computers, and humanoid robots. Efforts will be intensified to drive innovation in AI-driven digital-intelligent technologies, break through foundational theories and core technologies, and enhance the efficient supply of computing power, algorithms, and data. Guided by local conditions and differentiated strategies for each sector, national pilot testing bases for industry-specific AI applications and high-value application scenarios will be strategically arranged to vigorously promote AI adoption across all industries. A comprehensive system encompassing technical monitoring, risk early warning, and emergency response will be established to ensure that AI development remains safe, reliable, and controllable.
