Triple-A attackers transferred 4,970 ETH to Tornado Cash, worth approximately $12.4 million.
On October 10, according to monitoring by Salus, the attacker targeting crypto payment service Triple-A has transferred 4,970 ETH (valued at approximately $12.4 million) to the mixing tool Tornado Cash.
In July this year, the attacker stole assets from Triple-A's own treasury, with publicly estimated losses amounting to approximately $11.8 million. After bridging the funds across chains to the Ethereum network and completing token swaps, the attacker dispersed the funds into two intermediary addresses on September 6. On October 9, the attacker consolidated both funding streams through a single wallet and made batched deposits to Tornado Cash, including 49 transactions of 100 ETH each and 7 transactions of 10 ETH each, with some of the funds originating from prior withdrawals from a mixer.
