BAYC Announces Launch of Physical and Digital Mudwater Cards; BAYC and MAYC Holders Can Claim Card Packs

On October 18, the NFT project Bored Ape Yacht Club announced the launch of Mudwater, a physical and digital collectible trading card series built on Solana, and has airdropped 6,551 Totems to all paired BAYC and MAYC holders for claiming packs. Each BAYC is entitled to 10 packs, while each MAYC is entitled to 2 packs. Each pack contains 10 cards, with 24 packs per box, totaling 10,000 boxes.

The series comprises 120 artworks and features foil, numbered, and ice-crackle rare cards, with 8 of the ice-crackle cards being exclusive 1/1 editions. 2.5% of each sale will be used to buy back APE tokens and distributed proportionally based on holders' ownership of the Mudwater collection. Totems, packs, and cards are now tradable on OpenSea, with upcoming support for upgrading individual packs into boxed and crate formats.
