Initia announces its USDC will be migrated from Noble to Injective.

On October 19, the fully on-chain Rollup L1 network Initia announced that due to Circle sunsetting USDC on the Noble chain, Noble's USDC will be migrated to Injective. To ensure asset usability during the transition, Initia Labs has developed a redemption vault. Regular users do not need to perform any actions; existing USDC.n will continue to circulate normally. New incoming assets will be converted to USDC.inj, while outgoing assets are automatically redeemed through the vault. Users can also perform 1:1 exchanges via the Initia wallet.

Since only Noble USDC held directly in wallets can be redeemed directly through Circle after January 12, 2027, this vault aims to prevent on-chain assets from being deactivated, ensuring holders can continue normal operations after Noble discontinues the Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP).
