Revolut's crypto entity secures distributed ledger technology (DLT) license from Gibraltar

October 19 - Revolut's newly established cryptocurrency entity, Revolut Global Digital Assets Limited, has been granted a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) license by Gibraltar. This approval will support its international cryptocurrency business expansion strategy.

Revolut stated that the company currently has over 80 million retail customers, of which 16 million are cryptocurrency users.
