Project Eleven collaborates with Relm Insurance to explore the impact of post-quantum security on digital asset insurance pricing.

Oct 21, 08:48

On October 21, according to PR Newswire, post-quantum security company Project Eleven announced that Relm Insurance will serve as a development partner in its flagship institutional custody product, Strongpoint. The two parties will explore how to evaluate institutional post-quantum security controls in digital asset insurance underwriting, covering areas such as key exposure, signing systems, transaction approvals, migration readiness, and third-party dependencies.

For context, sufficiently powerful quantum computing could derive private keys from exposed public keys, thereby jeopardizing digital assets. Strongpoint integrates both traditional and post-quantum signatures and separates institutional controls from the encryption layer, allowing institutions to swap signature algorithms while maintaining existing approval rules and audit trails.
