On November 3, according to an announcement by Broadridge, the company plans to provide on-chain shareholder governance and digital transfer agency services for the New York Stock Exchange's tokenized securities platform. The platform is scheduled to launch after receiving regulatory approval.

According to the announcement, the NYSE will use Broadridge's governance smart contracts to link tokenized securities with meeting agendas, voting rules, and verifiable outcomes, while supporting the distribution of proxy voting materials and wallet authentication tied to voting eligibility. Investors can participate in on-chain governance through supported wallets, broker interfaces, or ProxyVote.

Broadridge stated that its digital transfer agency service will enable NYSE-listed issuers to tokenize stocks for trading on the platform.
