On November 05, Bloomberg reported that the T3 Financial Crime Unit, initiated by several top crypto companies, has quietly disbanded, with no specific reasons disclosed at present. The alliance was jointly established in September 2024 by the organization behind the Tron blockchain, stablecoin issuer Tether, and blockchain analytics firm TRM Labs, with the aim of creating a "safer, more reliable" crypto industry. Binance joined in September 2025, at which time the alliance stated that it had collaborated with law enforcement agencies to cumulatively freeze $250 million in illicit assets globally.
