Trump says he ordered the Department of Justice to thoroughly investigate the Democratic Party for "extortion"
On November 8, according to Jin10, US President Donald Trump posted on social media stating that he has ordered the Department of Justice to immediately investigate the relevant activities. He accused Democrats of threatening to impeach the US Attorney General and other officials, and noted that Democrats themselves admit there are no valid grounds for such actions.
Trump stated that Democrats also threatened Republican donors, vowing to impose penalties such as imprisonment solely based on their party affiliation or support. He labeled these actions as "the highest degree of extortion" and demanded accountability from those responsible.
Trump also specifically named Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin, accusing her of threatening to prosecute young people who align with Republican values, as well as anyone exhibiting even a slight inclination toward supporting the Republican Party. He called on Republicans to take swift action, asserting that those truly deserving imprisonment are what he termed "extortionists."
