The A-share semiconductor sector collectively experiences a pullback, with multiple stocks in the storage chip segment hitting the downside limit.

July 28th. The three major A-share indexes experienced a pullback amidst volatility. The ChiNext Index fell by over 7%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell by over 4%, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by approximately 1.4%, and the STAR 50 Index dropped by over 6%. Leading the decline were sectors such as mining hardware, coal, precious metals, and semiconductor chips, with nearly 3000 individual stocks in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing falling.

The semiconductor sector continued to weaken, with the storage chip segment leading the decline. Zhongji Xuchuang saw a trading volume of 38.004 billion yuan, a 13.38% decrease; Yese Sheng recorded a trading volume of 25.354 billion yuan, a 14.46% decrease; Zhaoxin Innovation's trading volume was 17.208 billion yuan, hitting the 10% limit down; Dongshan Precision's trading volume was 13.951 billion yuan, hitting the 10% limit down; Tongfu Microelectronics traded 12.923 billion yuan, a 9.99% decrease; Cambricon's trading volume was 11.187 billion yuan, an 8.85% decrease; Horizon Robotics transacted 10.207 billion yuan, an 8.13% decrease; and Tianshui Huatian Technology's trading volume was 8.229 billion yuan, a 5.57% decline.
