In response to community allegations of a "Giggle Academy one-time donation token sale causing price instability and community panic,” CZ stated that Giggle Academy is an app focused on free children's education, not a crypto team. As they are not experienced in token management, they sell off most of the donation tokens monthly to exchange for funds to support operations, benefiting over a million children worldwide.

CZ suggested that crypto projects should manage their tokenomics and supply to avoid large donations of tokens that could impact the price. "Donations should purely support the educational mission. It is recommended to make small monthly repeat donations instead of a large one-time donation while expecting gratitude or price support. Otherwise, it is merely for project engagement and 'farming'."
