August 9th - U.S. Vice President JD Vance said in an interview with Fox News that Iran has informed the U.S. that it has "no plans" to impose tolls on the Strait of Hormuz. "There are certainly some people within the Iranian system who will talk about tolls. But the Iranian side has told us that they do not plan to impose tolls on the Strait of Hormuz. They have told us that they will do so, and the entire Gulf coalition hopes so.
