Ethereum Staking Reaches All-Time High, Exceeding 41.7 Million ETH, Equivalent to One-Third of Total Supply

Aug 11, 00:57

August 11th, data shows that the Ethereum (ETH) staking amount has reached a new all-time high, with approximately 41.7 million ETH currently staked, accounting for about one-third of Ethereum's total supply.

At the same time, ETH price has shown weakness, dropping from around $3400 in January this year to near $1900, but the staking volume continues to grow.

Market analysts believe that as the Ethereum staking amount increases, the staking reward mechanism will continue to generate income, with validators receiving rewards and reinvesting some of the earnings into staking, further driving the staked ETH amount up.

The ETH staking ratio continues to rise, demonstrating that long-term holders and institutions' confidence in the security of the Ethereum network and its future ecosystem development is strengthening. However, a large amount of ETH being staked may also affect market liquidity.
