Iran's Supreme National Security Council: US Must End War and Unfreeze Iran's Blocked Funds

August 11th, Iran's Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Rezaei, made a statement: "The United States is the creator of insecurity in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman. By imposing an illegal war on Iran, it has put the entire region in danger. As long as the United States does not change its behavior, does not accept Iran's conditions, the Strait of Hormuz will not reopen. The U.S. must end the war, release Iran's frozen funds, end the wars in the entire region, including Lebanon and Gaza, and also meet other conditions conveyed to the U.S. through intermediaries. If Iran reaches an agreement with Oman on the transit passage of the Strait of Hormuz, this agreement will be separate from the strait's blockade issue."
