Pudgy Penguins co-founders launch new NFT series Spritehood on the Robinhood Chain, with sales revenue reaching $1.28 million

August 12th, Pudgy Penguins co-founder Cole Villemain was previously voted out by the project owner in January 2022. Early Tuesday morning, he launched a series of 44,440 NFTs called Spritehood on the Robinhood Chain, which sold out in less than an hour. According to on-chain transaction data, the revenue from this NFT minting was approximately $1.28 million.

A total of 37,430 NFTs were publicly minted and sold for $17 each, while another 5,526 were sold for $117 each, the latter corresponding to a $100 upgrade option offered on the minting page.

Based on the above data, the total sales revenue for this launch was $1,282,852, equivalent to around 684.28 ETH at the time of contract minting. Before the paid sale began, the contract deployer also freely minted 1,488 NFTs through 20 zero-price transactions.
