According to OnWatch Beating monitoring, despite the recent release of Grok 4.6, Musk has already started hyping Grok 4.7. He directly claimed that Grok 4.7 will surpass "all existing models." Especially in real-world engineering tasks, he mentioned that SpaceX's unique engineering training data would provide a significant advantage. He even stated that if there were still models stronger than Grok 4.7, he would be astonished.

Prior to the release of Grok 4.5, Musk had also pre-emptively teased its performance. However, the actual performance of these two generations of Grok has indeed seen a significant improvement.
