MiniMax Terminal Version begins internal testing, inviting users to directly experience real projects
According to Dongcha Beating monitoring, the MiniMax Code terminal version has officially started invitation-only Beta testing. Chief Developer He Tao stated that test users can connect it to a real code repository, tackle complex engineering tasks, and provide direct feedback to the team.
This version, internally referred to as MMC TUI, represents MiniMax Code running within a terminal. While MiniMax Code originally had a desktop version, this terminal form brings its usage closer to terminal coding agents like Claude Code and Codex CLI.
Later this week, MiniMax will reset the usage quota for all participating users. To join the Beta at this stage, interested individuals need to send a direct message to the MiniMax Agent official account.
