The Anthropic investor has touted a $2 trillion IPO valuation, with some even speculating it could reach $3 trillion.
According to Dynamic Insight Beating Monitor, some existing investors of Anthropic have already started to bet on the company, with the valuation expected to exceed $2 trillion by the fastest listing in October. Six investors interviewed by FT believe that the high demand and rapid revenue growth of Claude are enough to double Anthropic's valuation from $965 billion in May.
Their primary focus is on revenue growth rate. Anthropic announced in May that its annualized revenue has exceeded $47 billion, and these investors expect it to reach $100 billion to $120 billion by the end of the year. One of them even estimated based on a 30x revenue multiple, believing that Anthropic could be worth $3 trillion.
However, these numbers are all forecasts made by the investors themselves. Several investors mentioned that the Anthropic executives have not even privately set an IPO valuation target yet.
