Netflix: FTX-Related Series 'The Altruists' to Premiere on November 19th

August 14th, Netflix announced that the series "The Altruists," inspired by the rise and fall of FTX founder SBF and former Alameda Research CEO Caroline Ellison, will premiere on November 19th, revealing the first look images.

The series consists of 8 episodes, with Anthony Boyle playing SBF and Julia Garner playing Caroline Ellison. Netflix described the show as a story of two young idealists attempting to rapidly reshape the global financial system, only to be accused of stealing $8 billion and ultimately plummeting from the pinnacle of financial power.

"The Altruists" is created by Graham Moore, based on articles by "New York Magazine" reporters Kevin T. Dugan and Jen Wieczner. Barack Obama and Michelle Obama also serve as executive producers of the series.
