September 16 - As AI-related wealth soars, billionaires from traditional industries have been surpassed, and ByteDance's Zhang Yiming has become Asia's richest person for the first time. The 43-year-old Zhang Yiming's net worth has now exceeded $105 billion.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, his fortune has surpassed that of Indian tycoon Gautam Adani. Compared to the $13 billion recorded when Bloomberg first tracked him in March 2019, Zhang Yiming's wealth has increased about sevenfold.
