October 8, according to Fortune, Nvidia's global employee turnover rate is only 3.7%, far below the tech industry average of 21.9%. Nvidia HR head Febe Punsalan said the company has long adhered to a "mission-first" culture, adopts flat management, and does not have a traditional organizational chart. Leaders of important projects may even report directly to CEO Jensen Huang, who currently has 36 direct reports.

Nvidia also continuously adjusts its benefits policies through employee feedback. The company provides global employees with an additional 2 "Free Days" each quarter, during which the entire company shuts down and employees do not need to handle work or emails. In addition, the company maintains a hybrid work system and offers maternity leave, paternity leave, student loan repayment, reimbursement for IVF and surrogacy costs, as well as support programs for neurodiverse employees and their children.

The report said Nvidia employees can also use their salaries to buy company stock at a price 15% lower than the market price, a benefit that has already made some employees multimillionaires. However, employees also pointed out that the company's work intensity is high, with a "pressure cooker" work environment. Punsalan acknowledged that work at Nvidia is challenging, but said this high-intensity work is also accepted by employees because of its meaning and sense of mission.
