Xie Jiayin: The peer program has cumulatively covered over 2.2 million participants, with rewards distributed amounting to $3.49 million.
October 8 — Bitget held its eighth-anniversary offline event today. Reviewing the platform's eight-year development journey, Xie Jiayin, Head of Greater China, said that Bitget has gradually expanded from a single cryptocurrency trading platform into a Universal Exchange (UEX) covering multiple scenarios including stocks, commodities, and AI trading. As of the second quarter, non-crypto asset trading accounted for 40% of the platform's trading volume, and about 1 in every 4 new users began their Bitget journey through rToken.
Looking ahead to the next stage, Xie Jiayin said that Bitget will continue to advance its UEX strategy, expand more diverse assets and trading scenarios, and improve institutional-grade custody and over-the-counter settlement infrastructure, meeting the differentiated needs of different types of institutions through diversified custody and settlement models. Institutional services will also remain an important strategic direction for Bitget in the next stage.
At the event, Bitget also disclosed progress on the third batch of rewards distribution under the "Peer Program": cumulative rewards distributed reached $3,495,658, with a cumulative 2,277,318 reward issuances. Xie Jiayin said that through product development, service upgrades, and user givebacks, the platform hopes to put "user first" into concrete action.
