October 9 — Telegram has released version 13.0, bringing interface adjustments, connection method updates, and video message optimizations. Although this update involves multiple functional changes, Telegram still summarizes it as "bug fixes and minor improvements," and has not yet published a detailed update announcement on its official blog.

On the wallet side, the original Telegram Wallet service has now been renamed Walt and moved out of Telegram settings, instead being accessed through a mini-app interface. This update also adds web proxy support, allowing users to establish secure connections through another method; a pause button has been added during AI bot replies, and users can also report mini-apps that violate platform rules.

Other changes include: on Android, video message resolution has been increased from 384×384 to 480×480, with a frame rate of 30 FPS; the search button has been removed from the bottom navigation bar; and the Liquid Glass visual effect for iOS 27 has been optimized. In addition, Telegram is expected to launch a new crypto wallet, Gram Wallet, but the service is not yet available to users.

Telegram 13.0 also raises the minimum supported system version to iOS 15, meaning devices running iOS 13 or iOS 14 will not be able to install this update. This version is now available for download through the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Telegram's official website.
