Musk: The new Tesla Roadster will have perception capabilities.

October 17 - Musk responded to community users on the X platform regarding the new Tesla "flying" sports car Roadster, stating that the car will have the ability to autonomously perform various stunts and claiming it will possess "sentient" capabilities. Additionally, Tesla will build a circular track at its Texas headquarters that is even more insane than the Hot Wheels track, for Roadster owners to test their vehicles.

The community user stated that the Tesla Roadster is actually controlled by one computer sending commands to another, with steering, braking, and acceleration all using drive-by-wire technology. Musk responded, "True."
