Analyst: UNI has pulled back over 30% from its peak; slowing exchange inflows may signal bottoming out.
On October 17, crypto analyst Darkfost posted on the X platform stating that Uniswap (UNI) rose approximately 370% from its June low this year. Its total value locked (TVL) surpassed $4 billion in September, reaching an intrayear high, while DEX trading volume also peaked at $93.6 billion.
However, the token has pulled back more than 30% since hitting a high of $10.90. With increasing exchange inflows, UNI is currently undergoing a distribution phase. In late September, the Z-score for UNI inflows exceeded 4 multiple times, with daily inflow amounts surpassing $40 million. Although current inflows remain relatively active, momentum appears to be weakening. If inflows continue to decline, UNI may gradually bottom out.
(Note: Z-score, also known as the standard score, is a metric that measures how many standard deviations a data point deviates from the mean.)
