Beating AI News Flash: ZEALER founder and former Gree executive Wang Ziru has unveiled VIVA, the first AI product he and his team are developing, focused on personal health management.

It puts three virtual roles—nutritionist, fitness coach, and life assistant—into a single chat interface. Users only need to take a photo of their meal or simply say what they ate, and the AI can estimate calories and record nutritional intake.

The fitness coach can schedule training based on the user's calendar, guide workouts, and track progress. The life assistant supports integration with Apple Health, adjusting daily recommendations based on sleep and activity data. For example, if you didn't sleep enough last night, it will appropriately reduce today's training intensity. The three roles can share information from the conversation without needing to open separate tools.

This product actually has a backstory. In June this year, Wang Ziru showcased an AI health management prototype he developed. He revealed that with AI assistance for fat loss, his weight dropped from 86 kg to 74 kg. During development, he focused on solving two problems: Chinese cooking is complex, making calories hard to estimate; and data from smart wearable devices is scattered, requiring manual organization before AI can analyze it.

In August this year, Wang Ziru revealed that the startup software would be available by September at the latest. Now, the team plans to offer on-site VIVA experiences from October 23 to 25 at Xiaohongshu's "Mañana Tomorrow Park" in Haikou.
