Bitget Plans to Acquire Licensed Thai Crypto Exchange GMO-Z.com Cryptonomics (Thailand)

October 20 — Bitget plans to acquire GMO-Z.com Cryptonomics (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a Bangkok-based digital asset exchange and broker, through its affiliated entity BTGT Management (Thailand) Ltd. Under the proposed transaction, GMO Internet, Inc. and its consolidated subsidiary GMO-Z.com Holdings (Thailand) Co., Ltd., among other related parties, will transfer all of their shares in GMO-Z.com Cryptonomics (Thailand) to BTGT Management (Thailand) Ltd. and/or its designated entities upon completion of the transaction. Final closing of the sale and purchase agreement remains subject to approval from the relevant regulatory authorities and the satisfaction of other established conditions. GMO-Z.com Cryptonomics (Thailand) operates a licensed digital asset exchange and broker in Thailand.
