Jensen Huang: The next wave is physical AI, and in the future, every company will have physical factories and digital twins.
October 20 — During a fireside chat at the "Invest in Germany Summit" in Berlin, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that in the future, every company will have two factories: a physical factory and a digital factory (digital twin). The digital twin will be so realistic that it is almost indistinguishable from a real factory. Most people will work in their company's digital twin in the future, building products with digital brains, while AI robots will handle manufacturing in robotized factories.
Huang pointed out that the next wave of AI is Physical AI, namely intelligence that interacts with the physical world, covering fields such as robotics, manufacturing, automotive, and heavy industry. He also emphasized that "electrons will never replace atoms," digital technology will not replace expertise in electromechanics and manufacturing, and AI will only enhance these capabilities.
