October 20: In a fireside chat at the "Invest in Germany Summit" in Berlin, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang told German Chancellor Merz that NVIDIA has invested nearly $1 billion in Germany over the past year and has become one of Germany's larger venture capital investors. He is optimistic about Germany's science, mathematics, and entrepreneurial ecosystem, noting that about half of the companies newly established in the past two years are AI companies, and joked that other investors had better hurry, otherwise high-quality projects will be "snapped up" by NVIDIA.
