October 28: Public blockchain Zilliqa issued an update on the recent security incident, stating that the investigation with external cybersecurity firms is still ongoing. The official statement said that the ZRC2 proxy contracts used by X-Bridge and some liquidity pools were affected, with impacted tokens including zUSDT, SEED, kUSD, and Zoge; native ZIL and the Zilliqa EVM network were not affected. X-Bridge remains suspended, and the official reminder is not to use X-Bridge or related liquidity pools until further notice, adding that all operational keys are being rotated and that it is cooperating with exchanges and law enforcement.
