November 4: The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) stated that, according to data compiled by the World Semiconductor Trade Statistics (WSTS) organization, global semiconductor sales reached $517.7 billion in the third quarter of 2026, up 24.1% quarter-over-quarter. Semiconductor sales in all major regional markets showed strong growth in September, with even the relatively weakest Japanese market seeing a significant increase of 73.4%, while the Americas achieved an astonishing year-over-year increase of 191.7%.
