Claude plugin supports auto-connect: enterprises configure once, employees no longer need to log in individually
Beating AI News Flash: Anthropic launches automatic plugin connection for Claude. Previously, when employees used MCP plugins like Notion and Figma, they typically had to log in and authorize each one individually. Now, administrators only need to complete configuration in advance, and employees can automatically connect the first time they use a plugin, with no repeated logins.
The newly added Claude-issued Auth also allows Claude to act as the identity authentication party itself. Enterprises no longer need to deploy additional single sign-on systems such as Okta; as long as plugin providers set Claude as a trusted identity issuer, employee identity can be confirmed through Claude's login status.
The feature is currently in public beta for Claude Team and Enterprise users, supporting some plugins such as Notion, Figma, Linear, and Supabase.
