October 18 — Former Mt. Gox CEO Mark Karpelès announced in a post on X that he is developing a low-cost, easy-to-use device that can detect whether a hardware wallet contains spy implants without opening it. He plans to make the device's PCB design and specifications public so that anyone can build it themselves.
