Nov. 4: Changpeng Zhao shared a long analysis of public opinion around Binance, calling it "another attack targeting Binance." The analysis tallied data over roughly 78 hours from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2, finding that 1,083 accounts published 11,700 hostile posts about the Binance hack incident, drawing about 20.93 million impressions. Of these, 3,354 were judged to be false information. The analysis argues that these narratives switched in a rhythmic way in step with Binance's official response milestones, such as "insider," "insolvent," and "afraid to allow withdrawals." Among the 641 most active accounts, 452 had coordinated links; 89% of the accounts had rarely mentioned Binance in normal times, but during the incident their posting frequency spiked to 24.6 times the baseline. During the phase when Binance resumed withdrawals, mobilization posts such as "withdraw now" and "bank run" reached 11.2 per hour, the peak across all phases.
