Berlin Fintech Pliant Completes $80 Million Series C Round Led by Seaya Nova and Speedinvest

Nov. 5: According to Pliant's announcement, the company has completed an $80 million Series C funding round led by Seaya Nova and Speedinvest, with participation from Illuminate Financial, Motive Ventures and Molten. The funds will be used for expansion in the U.S. and Canada, entry into more international markets and accelerating its AI payments roadmap; the company says it has doubled its business for three consecutive years and that annual recurring revenue has surpassed $100 million, and that it can open its B2B payments infrastructure to external AI agents such as Claude and ChatGPT via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
