Gate Continues Expanding Multi-Asset Trading Footprint as TradFi Weekly Volume Grows for Third Straight Week

Nov 5, 21:13

November 5 – According to Gate's latest institutional weekly report, global risk assets came under pressure overall between October 26 and November 1, with spot BTC and ETH ETFs recording net outflows of approximately $202 million and $431 million respectively, while on-chain stablecoin supply and lending volumes contracted in tandem. Amid heightened market volatility and shifting liquidity, Gate TradFi's weekly trading volume rebounded to about $11.5 billion, growing for a third consecutive week, with the share of ETF, Hong Kong stock and Korean stock trading expanding further, reflecting sustained activity in multi-asset trading demand.

Gate recently officially launched Taiwan stock trading, initially supporting 19 popular stocks listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, including TSMC and MediaTek. Gate's stock trading now covers five major markets—US, Hong Kong, Korean, Japanese and Taiwan stocks—with support for more than 12,800 stocks and ETFs; the number of underlying assets available for stock contracts has surpassed 500, and gStocks' single-day trading volume exceeded $130 million, a new high in nearly three months, enriching users' options for participating in traditional stock and tokenized stock trading.

As trading scenarios for traditional financial assets and digital assets continue to converge, Gate is expanding its multi-market, multi-asset trading coverage through products including TradFi, stock trading, stock contracts and gStocks, offering institutions and professional traders a broader range of asset allocation and trading choices.
