Nubank Suspends Crypto Deposits and Withdrawals in Brazil, Citing Problems With External Service Provider

November 7 — According to Bloomberg, Brazilian fintech company Nu Holdings (Nubank) has suspended cryptocurrency deposit and withdrawal services in Brazil due to problems with an external service provider. In a statement on Friday, the company said "all assets and information are protected," that the issue is unrelated to its own infrastructure and does not compromise customer safety, but it did not disclose the name of the partner or the number of affected customers. Nubank said its other crypto products are operating normally. Nubank has about 120 million customers in Brazil.
