Anchorage Digital Acquires Payment Platform Routable to Expand Corporate Payments and Stablecoin Settlement Services
On October 7, according to The Defiant, institutional-grade cryptocurrency platform Anchorage Digital announced its acquisition of enterprise payment platform Routable to add corporate bill payment and high-value fiat deposit and withdrawal capabilities to its institutional digital asset platform. Following the acquisition, the business will operate under the "Routable by Anchorage Digital" brand, with specific financial terms yet to be disclosed.
This acquisition integrates Routable’s accounts payable and receivable management, compliance workflows, and fiat payment network (encompassing ACH, SWIFT, and other systems across more than 220 countries and regions) with Anchorage Digital’s existing stablecoin issuance, custody, and settlement infrastructure. Anchorage Digital stated that over the coming quarters, it will embed native stablecoin and tokenized deposit settlement functionalities into Routable, gradually rolling out integrated product offerings.
