Q3 centralized exchange futures trading volume decreased by 10% sequentially to $13 trillion

On October 7 that, according to CryptoRank data, centralized exchange (CEX) futures trading volume fell to $13 trillion in Q3 2026, down 10% quarter-over-quarter from $14.4 trillion in Q2.

This marks the smallest decline in nearly three quarters, narrowing from the 31% and 11% drops seen in the preceding two quarters, respectively.
