On October 21, according to Yonhap News Agency, following Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix also concluded its large-scale share buyback on the same day. SK Hynix stated that the company completed the two-month, 40 trillion won share repurchase on the Korea Exchange (KOSPI) that day.

Previously, SK Hynix announced that it would allocate 40.0434 trillion won to repurchase 24.07 million shares and cancel all repurchased shares upon completion. The repurchased shares account for approximately 3.3% of the company's total outstanding shares, marking the largest share cancellation program by a listed company in South Korea. While SK Hynix's originally announced buyback period was scheduled from August 20 to November 19, the actual repurchase work was completed approximately one month ahead of schedule.
