Saturn Announces Using Proprietary Funds to Participate in Strive SATS Preferred Stock IPO
On October 21, Ellis Osborn, co-founder of the DeFi digital credit protocol Saturn, tweeted that Saturn has participated in the initial public offering (IPO) of Strive’s SATS using its own treasury funds.
SATS is a cumulative fixed-rate perpetual preferred stock with a claim priority subordinate to SATA but superior to ASST, offering an annualized dividend yield of 15% distributed each business day. Saturn stated that this instrument represents a significant advancement in the digital credit space, and the team is exploring introducing such tools to its global investor base.
Furthermore, official clarification noted that this participation was funded entirely from Saturn’s proprietary treasury funds, having no impact on USDat, sUSDat, or any existing Saturn products or holders.
