Ripple Partners with Coinbase to Expand RLUSD Access Channels

On October 28, according to an official press release from Ripple, Ripple and Coinbase announced a partnership. RLUSD, the stablecoin issued by Ripple, will be available on Coinbase Prime, Coinbase Exchange, and Coinbase's retail applications starting today, supporting 1:1 conversion of USD and other supported dollar-pegged stablecoins into RLUSD. RLUSD supports deposits and withdrawals across three chains: XRPL, Base, and Ethereum, with Ripple providing liquidity on Base. Support for Coinbase Global Exchange customers (including using RLUSD as collateral) will be rolled out later. RLUSD was launched in December 2024 and currently has a market capitalization exceeding $2.4 billion.
